It is that time of year where if you are on the WFH grind, or even worse, the online uni grind that your dining table or desk becomes incredibly boring and unmotivated. Whenever I'm feeling unproductive I head to a cafe with my laptop and AirPods and just the act of getting out of the house and being in a good study environment usually means that I get at least an hour of high quality work done!

Here are my top places to study at in Auckland! All have wifi, just ask staff for login details.

L'Affare

Round the back of Newmarket. Perfect spot to be productive, not too busy and super lovely staff, and you won't feel guilty for staying for a couple hours! Also they do $3 coffees for students.

Get a mocha, they come with Whittakers choc bar!

Ampersand

In Orakei Bay Village, with loads of seating and the perfect amount of bustle to keep you on track!

Get a maple and date scone and a coffee (roasted on site!)

Ozone

Located in Grey Lynn in a very sheek converted warehouse, Ozone have a huge number of tables suited for one, and their staff are super attentive and more than willing to accomodate you. You won't be the only one with a laptop in tow, that's for sure!

Get the banana bread served with PB and J, and a coffee.

Farmhouse

Located in Clevedon, Farmhouse is the place to go where you need to escape the hustle and bustle for the farm. There is something about the barn with huge long tables, and the stillness that always puts my brain at ease

Get the savoury brioche and a tumeric tea.

Hemi

Located by Victoria Park, Hemi is a great spot to grab a cup of coffee and catch up on some work. The staff are great and their range of menu options are amazing at any time of day.

Get the waffles if you're in early, or the mezze salad if you're passing through at lunch time.

Let me know your fave coffee study spots!!!
