I write this in Level 3 Lockdown (yet again!), salivating at the thought of a eating at an actual table at a real life restaurant with a big group of friends!!!!

Fave Eat In Restaurant: The Poni Room

Fave Cheap Eats/Takeaways: Fish Smith

DINE IN

Bedford Soda and Liquor

Yum yum yum. Super good sides, if you're like me and like a little bit of everything this is the place for you. The cocktails are super cool and yum but kinda overrated if you ask me.

Get the mac n cheese!

Elmo's

Delish pizza. Superb cocktails. Lovely service.

Get the beef cheek pizza and a cocktail or two.

Good George

The best range of cider Auckland has to offer. Yum pizzas that hit the spot.

Get a tasting rack, so you can try five different flavours of cider or beer, and the chicken pizza.

Lilian

Divine. Absolutely divine. Incredible flavours. The best veges I've ever had. And incredible service and ambience. You must go.

Get the grape and prosciutto pizza (life changing) and the brussel sprouts (so crisp).

Mexico

Great place for a drink or two and a yummy quick and easy meal. Always a good vibe, makes for a great catch up with a friend or two.

Get the tacos and the fried chicken! I don't recommend the quesadillas though.

Po Brothers

The best food I've ever had at a BYO. Lovely staff. Super great place to celebrate with a big group. Note that BYO is $10 a bottle, but honestly it's worth it for the divine food and chilled atmosphere.

Get the chicken satay and the karaage chicken.

Poni Room

Full of flavour. Fresh. Beautiful views. So so many great options.

Go with a big group and get a selection of plates so you can mix and match sweet, salty, crunchy and tender.

Thought this was going to be overrated, but it seriously was so delish. Fresh, full of flavour and 1000x better than your local fish n chip shop

Get the calamari burger, so yum!

Burger Burger

Great burgers, super range of drinks and awesome service. Burger Burger is kind of an Auckland institution.

Get the fish tacos or the chicken burger.

Fingers crossed I will soon be back eating out and getting takeaways from all over the Auckland region! I have a long list of a few places I am wanting to check out ASAP.
